About
Dr. Nicholas Poggioli is an assistant professor of management in Appalachian State University's Walker College of Business. He studies sustainability and business, with a focus on the meaning of sustainability and how organizations can implement sustainable operations.
Poggioli was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Michigan's Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise and earned his Ph.D. in business administration from the University of Minnesota. His work has been published in Journal of Management Studies, Journal of International Business Studies, Behavioral Science and Policy, Amplify and the Palgrave Handbook of Global Sustainability.
